Camping and other Accommodations
The gates to the campground area are opened at 7:00
a.m. and closed at 10:00 p.m.. The gates will only be
opened at other hours in cases of an emergency only.
All rates quoted are for cash or check, the preferred
method of payment. We also accept MasterCard and Visa.
Remember that reservations are highly recommended,
especially on weekends and holidays. The nature of our
business on holidays causes us to require a minimum of
three days stay during those times regardless of the
accommodations you are reserving. Please allow 48
hours notice in the event of a cancellation to ensure
a refund of your deposit.

DOGS
Those that like to travel with their dog should review
our Dog
Policy.
Our tent sites are shaded and grassed. All sites have a picnic table, lantern post, and fire rings. The check in and check out time for all campsites is 4:00 p.m.. Tents on a site for three days or longer may be moved on the
third day to save wear and
tear on the site.
RESERVATIONS
Reservations may be made for a particular campsite with
a deposit by calling New River
Campground Canoeing and Kayaking. All accommodation
deposits are non refundable if cancelled within two days
of your reserved time, or your deposit can be applied to
another reservation at a later date. New River
Campground Canoeing and Kayaking reserves the right to
change a requested site on some occasions. On holidays
we require a minimum of three days stay regardless of
the accommodations.
BASIC TENT SITES
$19.00 per site for two people. There is a $4.00
charge for each additional person, but children under
six years of age are free. Reservations may be made with
a $19.00 deposit.
WATER AND ELECTRIC
RV SITES
$22.00 per site
for two people. There is a $4.00 charge for each
additional person, but children under six years of age
are free. Reservations may be made with an $22.00
deposit.
Camping Cabins are one room
log cabins with two bunk beds and full size loft bed,
light, receptacle and ceiling fan. Each has a picnic
table and fire ring for cooking or campfire. They are
located near bathhouse facilities with hot showers.
Please note that you will need to bring your own
mattress, sleeping bag or linens. Check in time is 2:00
p.m., check out time is 11:00 a.m..
CABINS
$29.00 a night for
two people. There is a $5.00 charge for each
additional person, but children under six years of age
are free. Reservations may be made with a $29.00
deposit. We have three Camping Cabins.
Overnight efficiencies have a kitchen, full bath, and kitchen living area, as well as air conditioning and electric heat. Linens, cooking utensils and appliances are furnished, even the coffee maker and the toaster. Each has its own deck overlooking the campground and river. Check in time is 1:00 p.m., check out time is 11:00 a.m..
APARTMENTS
$69.00 a night for two people. There is a $5.00
charge for each additional person, but children under
six years of age are free. Reservations may be made with
a $69.00 deposit. We have four apartments.
